Sample Projects

Safety of Flight

This eLearning was created to introduce students to multiple topics that encapsulate safety in flight. The different sections include interactivity, gamification, and multiple approaches to information presentation to give learners multiple approaches to the material. This eLearning was created in Articulate Storyline.

Approaches Game

This eLearning game was created as a review game for the three different types of IFR approaches. This game was to be completed after the learner completed other modules on the approaches. The goal was to review each approach in a fun and creative way meant to reinforce the material. All games were created in Articulate Storyline.

Grimms Fairytale Syllabus

This audio project created an eight to ten minute audio syllabus based off a proposed college course on Grimms fairytales. The audio experience was meant to be immersive and give learners engaging narration while also allowing them to digest and retain the information about the class expectation. This was achieved using storytelling and engaging narration, sound clips, and audio editing effects to immerse the learner in the material. This project was created using Adobe Audition.

Infant CPR and Choking Safety

This module is part of a larger four week training on infant CPR and choking procedures designed for new parents. This module takes parents through the steps to take when a child is choking or having a medical emergency before administering aid. The mobile app platform was chosen due to the busy nature of the parent's schedule. This module was made with SC Training.

Purrfectionary Boutique Training

This training project simulated a corporate training meant to improve customer service and increase sales to a fictional pet store. This training started off with a training needs analysis to identify where the learning gaps were with the employees and the analysis method. The training includes an assessment to evaluate learning outcomes and a feedback survey for the participants. This training employs constructivist learning theory as it calls for learners to reflect on past experience and then build new skills upon that knowledge. Also, instructor and learner play equal roles in the training as the instructor becomes the facilitator and actively includes the learner throughout the training.
